Part-time professional role models needed to provide therapeutic mentoring services to youth referred by the Dept. of Children and Families, and the Department of Juvenile Probation. Mentors work with assigned client one to one, provide support, develop and monitor behavioral goals, and participate in diverse recreational activities (recreational stipend provided). Only applicants who can work with clients in the greater Middletown and Greater New Haven regions are invited to apply.
All mentors must undergo a State Police check, child protective services background check and Dept. of Motor Vehicles check. First Aid and CPR are required.
A Bachelors degree in Human Services or in lieu thereof, 7 years experience working with youth is required. Starting wage- $14.00-$14.75 hourly.

Kids' Korner Before and After School Programs
Program Staff
Before and After School program staff needed to work 7am-9am and/or 3-6pm. Programs are located in the public elementary schools in Middletown, Portland (Valley View), and Cromwell. Energetic, creative, positve role models who have experience working with school age children. Pay rate $8.50-$11 an hr depending on experience. CATCH Physical Fitness Instructors
Fitness instructors needed to implement a health and wellness curriculum at the Kids' Korner before and after school programs. Instructors must have experience facilitating active games and fitness activities with school age children. Hours are 7:30-8:30am or 4-5:30pm. 1 to 5 days a week available. Pay rate $15 an hour.
